Black feminism & Applicability
Black feminism, when misapplied, creates a whole new dichotomy amongst black women. The dichotomy of the good (intellectual, so-called self-loving and aware and worthy but under-appreciated) black woman verses the bad (opposite of everything on the good side) black woman.
Then who are you uplifting exactly?
And it’s hypocritical. Black feminists of all people should know to blame society rather than the individual for negative trends/ realities in our said society. But sometimes we’re so self-inflated that we hate individuals outside of our intellectually constructed vision of perfection like something vicious and feel justified.
